Donaldson Co. Inc. has begun shipping its new PowerCore filtration technology to General Motors for use in the new Hummer H2 sport utility truck. The Hummer H2 filter program represents Donaldson's first automotive application using PowerCore. The PowerCore technology, first used in off-road equipment and heavy-duty truck air intake applications, is an alternative to larger conventional air filter systems.
